Onimusha: Way of the Sword Pre-Order Bonuses & Editions

Three digital editions are confirmed on Steam — Base Game, Deluxe Edition, and Premium Deluxe Edition — plus a pre-order bonus set. No Collector’s Edition has been confirmed.

Store details checked: August 29 & September 3, 2026

This comparison keeps to what the official storefronts and first-party coverage confirm: which digital editions exist, what the pre-order bonus set contains, what the US listing prices were when checked, and what remains unannounced. It does not invent kit contents or physical SKUs.

Which edition should you pick?

The honest starting point: all three digital editions contain the full game. The differences are the digital extras bundled above it, and CAPCOM has not published an itemized breakdown of each kit in the sources this site verified. If you only want to play, the Base Game is complete; the paid tiers buy extras, not access.

Base Game

For: You just want the game

The $69.99 tier is the complete game on its own. Nothing in the verified material suggests the base game is incomplete without the kits.

Deluxe Edition

For: You want digital extras at launch

One step up from the base game. Confirm the kit contents on the store page before paying the $10 difference, since this site could not itemize them from official sources.

Premium Deluxe Edition

For: You want everything digital

The top digital tier Steam lists. The same store-page check applies to its kit contents before you commit.

Edition comparison

The three editions below are exactly what Steam listed when this page was checked (August 29, 2026). US prices come from Xbox Wire’s June 12, 2026 coverage of the game’s listings.

EditionWhat it includesUS price*
Base Game The core digital game listing on Steam. The Steam page describes the game as an all-new entry with intense swordplay action. $69.99
Deluxe Edition Listed on Steam as “Onimusha: WotS - Deluxe Edition” — the base game plus the Deluxe digital kit. The kit’s itemized contents were not captured in the sources this site verified, so check the store page for the current item list. $79.99
Premium Deluxe Edition Listed on Steam as “Onimusha: WotS - Premium Deluxe Edition” — the highest digital tier, the base game plus the Premium Deluxe kit. Itemized kit contents were not captured in verified sources; the store page is the authority. $89.99

*Prices shown are the US listing figures reported by Xbox Wire on June 12, 2026. Store prices vary by region and currency, and storefronts can change prices — your local store page is the final word before purchase.

The pre-order bonus set

Steam’s listing attaches one pre-order bonus set to the game: a charm and a sword appearance that can be used in-game. The two items are named Charm: Lion Dog and Sword Appearance: Sealed Curse. Xbox Wire’s June 2026 coverage likewise described pre-order charms and sword appearances tied to each edition.

One boundary worth knowing: the listing states that “pre-order bonuses may be made available after launch.” The items are tied to pre-ordering, but they are not promised to be in your inventory on day one.

US prices, regions, and what was not verified

The prices in the comparison table ($69.99 / $79.99 / $89.99) are the figures Xbox Wire reported for the game’s US listings on June 12, 2026. This site did not capture Steam’s own regional price display, and prices on digital storefronts differ by region and currency. Treat the table as a reference point, then confirm on the storefront you actually buy from.

What this page deliberately does not do: quote prices for regions it has no source for, or present one store’s pricing as a worldwide standard.

Collector’s Edition and physical editions: still unconfirmed

Search interest in a collector’s edition is high, so here is the straight answer: as of September 3, 2026, this site has found no official announcement of an Onimusha: Way of the Sword Collector’s Edition, and CAPCOM’s own product pages could not be verified (its site was inaccessible during checks, recorded rather than retried). The officially confirmed line-up remains the three Steam digital editions above.

Officially published physical edition information is likewise incomplete. That does not mean a physical or collector’s release cannot exist or appear later — it means no verified official source describes one yet, so this page will not invent contents, prices, or regional availability for it.

Pending — not yet confirmed

Collector’s Edition: not confirmed

No official source checked by this site confirms a Collector’s Edition SKU. If CAPCOM announces one, this section becomes a sourced breakdown.

Status checked September 3, 2026 (store listings and announcements); CAPCOM product pages were inaccessible during verification.
